The Athena is a slightly overstable fairway driver. This disc is intended for controlled drives and fairway shots, providing a straight initial flight path with a reliable but unexaggerated fade during its finish. The Athena features a relatively flat flight plate with a narrower, more controllable rim than higher speed drivers, which enhances grip and comfort and provides extra control for players of all skill levels. This disc is the sixth release in Discraft's Paul McBeth line.
