Speed 4 | Glide 3 | Turn 0 | Fade 3
The Kea is an overstable approach midrange with a large bead and a small thumb track. While RPM classifies this disc as a midrange, it is more in line with high-speed putt and approach discs from other manufacturers. The Kea is designed to be a reliable approach and escape disc for getting up and down with ease. It is overstable enough to be exceptionally consistent without becoming a complete meathook, and its low glide rating provides the same level of control on a vertical axis. The Kea is remarkably comfortable to grip and to throw, as its unusual profile seems to fit naturally in the hand. This is one of RPM's newer molds but it has immediately become one of their most popular discs for both backhand and forehand shots.
